AXA IM Alts appoints Louis Leveillé Nizerolle to Head of Transactions France

Louis Leveillé Nizerolle replaces Antoine Mesnage, who has been promoted to the role of Head of Australia, AXA IM Alts

AXA IM Alts, a global leader in alternative investments with c. €188 billion of assets under management1 , announces that Louis Leveillé Nizerolle has been promoted to Head of Transactions France within the Real Assets platform. Louis, who is currently Senior Transactions Manager, will start his new role on 1 September, and replaces Antoine Mesnage, who has been promoted to Head of Australia for AXA IM Alts, effective from 1 October. Louis Leveillé Nizerolle joined AXA IM Alts in 2012 and brings over 10 years of transactions and asset management experience, focused on the French market.

Louis Leveillé Nizerolle has played a key role in a number of high-profile investments, including the acquisition in 2019 of Groupe Kley, a fully integrated student housing and co-living operator, and a c.10,000-unit affordable housing portfolio project, located in the Paris region through a strategic partnership with in’li. Prior to joining AXA IM Alts’ Real Assets transactions team, Louis was in charge of the asset management of a diversified property portfolio of more than €1.1 billion value in France, comprising a mix of offices, retail, hospitality and residential.

Antoine Mesnage is relocating to Australia after 15 years at AXA IM Alts in France, where he successfully led the investment strategy on behalf of AXA IM Alts’ clients in the French market. AXA IM Alts completed more than €11 billion of real estate transactions globally across all strategies and sectors in 20212 . Antoine will be able to leverage his significant knowledge, skills and years of expertise from his time in Europe to spearhead the next phase of growth in Australia, as part of the business’ development ambitions in the APAC region.
