Guy Davies

Deputy Global Head of Investments, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Global Head of Fundamental Active Equity

Guy is CIO and Global Head of Fundamental Active Equity at BNP Paribas Asset Management since 2016 and, in addition to this role, Deputy Global Head of Investments since March 2022.

His responsibilities include global and regional equities - both in developed and emerging markets, with teams located in Asia, Europe and the United States. He has oversight responsibility for all activities relating to the management and performance of the organisation’s equity investment teams, strategies and portfolios. In his broader role, Guy oversees our Client Advisory and Macro Research divisions. He also is involved in the leadership of the Investment platform and the execution of BNPP AM's ambitious Strategic Plan.

He joined our company in 2008 via BNPP AM’s acquisition of IMS Limited. Prior to joining us, Guy was a Founding Partner and co-Chief Executive at MM Asset Management, which was acquired by IMS in 2005. Guy began his career at Mercer Investment Consulting and has 30 years industry experience.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Economic History from Bristol University in the United Kingdom and is an Associate of the UK Society of Investment Professionals (ASIP).

Guy is based in London.

    AXA Investment Managers joined BNP Paribas Group in July 2025. Following the merger of AXA Investment Managers Paris and BNP PARIBAS ASSET MANAGEMENT Europe and their respective holding companies on December 31, 2025, the combined company now operates under the BNP PARIBAS ASSET MANAGEMENT Europe name.
