Joe has over 10 years of experience in fields related to finance, capital markets & investments but has been dedicating his career to climate related impact investing for over 5 years.

Joe started his career investing in capital markets on behalf of high-net-worth individuals before making a move into impact investing where he felt passionately about the urgent need to close the financing gap for nature-based solutions.

After a brief internship with a social impact fund in Mexico city, Joe joined Mirova Natural Capital as an investment associate to channel private funding in executing deals into carbon projects and sustainable agriculture. From there, Joe became the lead investment manager for the Landscape Resilience Fund, managed by South Pole, launching the fund and structuring debt investments into regenerative agriculture businesses that have a focus on supporting smallholder farmers in developing countries that have been most impacted by climate change.

Joe joined AXA IM Alts1 in 2023 to continue his work as an investment manager in the natural capital space. He is a CFA charter holder and graduated with a Master’s in Economics from the University of Edinburgh in 2013.

    AXA Investment Managers joined BNP Paribas Group in July 2025. Following the merger of AXA Investment Managers Paris and BNP PARIBAS ASSET MANAGEMENT Europe and their respective holding companies on December 31, 2025, the combined company now operates under the BNP PARIBAS ASSET MANAGEMENT Europe name.
