AXA IM Alts completes redevelopment of Urban Cube office building in Milan
AXA IM Alts, a global leader in alternative investments with c. €162 billion of assets under management1 , has completed the full redevelopment of its Urban Cube office building in Milan. The 16.000 sqm GLA building has been redeveloped to the highest ESG standards and has achieved an EPC rating A2 with a LEED Gold rating expected in June 2021.
The building is spread across 11 office floors, 2 basements levels for parking and technical rooms, and is fully let to Gruppo 24 ORE, the leading Italian multimedia publishing organization, operating in the economic, financial, professional, and cultural information sector with Il Sole 24 ORE, the leading financial newspaper in Italy, Radiocor news agency and the radio station Radio 24. Employees at the newspaper will benefit from the wide range of amenities available across the building including a congress hall, a bar, an external garden, parking space (totalling 133 car slots) and a 900 sqm terrace on the 10th floor providing panoramic views of Milan.
The building is located in Viale Sarca 223 in the Bicocca district of Milan, which is home to the headquarters of large multinational companies. The area also has good access to amenities such as shopping centres, Milan’s second largest theatre and the Università Bicocca, one of the most well-regarded public universities in Italy. The area has strong public transport connections, with a metro and tramway station in close proximity, providing access to Milan’s main railway station and the city centre within minutes.
