Camila Alva Estabridis
Associate - Impact Investing
Camila Alva Estabridis is an environmental and development economist who joined AXA Investment Managers Group (AXA IM Alts) in February 2022 as an Impact Associate. She focuses on identifying, analysing, measuring, and monitoring the impact and ESG aspects of prospective and current investments, as well as on providing strategic thematic advice for the private equity impact investing team.
Camila has gained more than 10 years of professional experience in evaluating the impact and in the implementation of social and environmental policies and programs in Latin America. She previously worked as a consultant and researcher in think tanks and international organizations like IFPRI, the World Bank, and GRADE. Between 2015 and 2020, she occupied advisory and lead management positions in the Peruvian Government, for the ministries of Education, Development and Social Inclusion, and lastly for the Ministry of Environment, where she worked as a Director of Pollution Control and Chemical Substances.
Camila holds a BA in Economics and Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (2009), a Master’s degree in Public Administration and International Development (MPAID) from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government (2014), and a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Sustainability from L’Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Science Po) (2021).
